The Northeast is bracing for a historic late winter storm that is forecast to bring blizzard conditions, damaging winds and the heaviest snowfall the region has seen all season.

New York City, Boston and Philadelphia are expecting up to one foot of snow lasting from late Monday through Wednesday — and interior areas could see up to two feet. The most dangerous part of the storm will come Tuesday morning when the snow combines with wind gusts of 55-70 mph, threatening power outages and minor damage from falling trees.  The heaviest snowfall is expected Tuesday morning through the afternoon, with snowfall rates of as much as 2 to 4 inches per hour.  Additionally, a coastal flood watch was issued for Brooklyn, Staten Island and southern Queens for Tuesday morning.

At this time, most businesses are announcing closures.   The safety of our drivers and other people on the road is our number one priority.  Keystone Freight Corp. and NRT will be restricting road operations according to the recommendations of local Authorities throughout the region.  After midnight tonight, road operations will cease from Maryland to Maine and as far west as PA/OH until the roads have been cleaned and state agencies confirm conditions.

All Building operations in the NJ/NY Metro area will be closed on Tuesday and will re-open when the roads are safe for team members to drive.

Administrative and Operational support will be maintained via our network in areas outside of the Northeast to ensure no interruption.
